New Journal Page

Lately, I've been watching lots of YouTube videos on journaling. I love the style of Teesha Moore's journals and with her dolls stamps I recently purchased, I made this journal page in my kraft notebook.
I used some of the reduced copies of the dolls that I had colored. Can you find them all (8 girls on this page total)? Anyhow, it was just something I wanted to try...but I have many more ideas to work on. I've been buying lots of stencils and Dylusions Ink sprays that I can't wait to play with too!

On another note, have you ever wanted a really good white ink pad? I've tried many, and I think Stephanie Barnard finally came out with a great one (exclusive to her site). She partnered with ColorBox and developed a great white ink that never fades over time.
For the houses on my journal page, I stamped some words (from 7Gypsies) using the white ink and grey paper. Then I cut out house shapes from the stamped pages.

As always, so much to do and so little time. We've been very busy lately with home projects/family & friend gatherings, and I haven't had much time to craft. We also have a long awaited vacation coming up soon, so I won't have much free time these next couple weeks to do much crafting either - I'll have so save up my ideas for later.

Have a great week everyone!

    1. The words on the paper say...
there are many moments in my life...little moments that happen each and every single day that make me gloriously happy...moments that take my breath away...not because they are big moments or ground breaking moments or life-changing moments...and yet they really are life-changing because they all add up to make my life full and complete...yes, they are indeed life-changing moments because they make my life happy and memorable and worth celebrating...these little moments are truly remarkable...they are tiny and big all at the same time.

  2. Wonderfully creative journal page. Love all the details on the page....your doodles as well as the white stamped words on the houses. Your background is perfect for your Teesha Moore dolls. Love it.
Thanks for sharing your techniques for doing this. Looks like I'll need to get the white ink pad from Stephanie Barnard - great tip!
