Tim Holtz Assemblage Necklace 3 of 3

Hi guys, so this is the third necklace I made using the new Assemblage line from Tim Holtz. These items are sold only at Jo-Ann's.
The branch piece already has various holes that you can easily add elements to. So many possibilities with this piece, but I opted for something simple and a bit of glam and bling.

Pictured below are just a couple pictures of the work in progress...
The vintage photo is probably my favorite item in this collection.
I decided to glam up one of my vintage dolls with this necklace.
Thanks Paula for letting me create for you guys. I love the products, from this line and had so much fun creating these necklaces!
Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

Tim Holtz Assemblage Necklace 2 of 3

As I stated in my previous post, I was honored to be ask to create some jewelry pieces with Tim Holtz's new Assemblage line, sold exclusively at Joann's.

Here's a picture of my second necklace I made. It measures  32" long.

All the pieces came exclusively from the Assemblage lines, with the exception of a few jump rings and eye pins.  The pieces can be combined in so many ways, possibilities are endless. I have some step by step pictures below.
I took some of the pieces apart and connected them in new ways.
I like the mix of textures and colors.
It makes for an interesting piece and so unique.
Have fun making some new jewelry pieces with this amazing Assemblage line.
In my next post, I'll show you my third necklace I made with this line.

Tim Holtz Assemblage Necklace: 1 of 3

I was honored to be asked to make some jewelry pieces with Tim Holtz's new Assemblage line, which is exclusively sold at Joann's. It was such an easy project, since the elements in this line are so amazing!

I made 3 necklaces so far and today's post will focus on just one of those. In the coming weeks, I'll be showing you details of each one.
This one is approximately 18" long, modeled on one of my Santos statues.
Below, are a few pictures of the steps I use to create it. I used different size chains on either end of the necklace, just to create some interests.
I love all the individual elements, they remind me of old found objects.🔽 My favorite,  is the old tin type charm, I'm going to definitely stock up on those!
I always like to add a bit of bling and adding numbers to my projects is a must. These assemblage type necklaces make such a conversation piece as well.
This necklace only used a small portion of the many pieces in Tim Holtz's Assemblage line, I can't wait to show you what else I created...stay tuned.
Here's some of the pieces from the line...
I hope you enjoy playing with these!
