Tim Holtz Assemblage Necklace: 1 of 3

I was honored to be asked to make some jewelry pieces with Tim Holtz's new Assemblage line, which is exclusively sold at Joann's. It was such an easy project, since the elements in this line are so amazing!

I made 3 necklaces so far and today's post will focus on just one of those. In the coming weeks, I'll be showing you details of each one.
This one is approximately 18" long, modeled on one of my Santos statues.
Below, are a few pictures of the steps I use to create it. I used different size chains on either end of the necklace, just to create some interests.
I love all the individual elements, they remind me of old found objects.🔽 My favorite,  is the old tin type charm, I'm going to definitely stock up on those!
I always like to add a bit of bling and adding numbers to my projects is a must. These assemblage type necklaces make such a conversation piece as well.
This necklace only used a small portion of the many pieces in Tim Holtz's Assemblage line, I can't wait to show you what else I created...stay tuned.
Here's some of the pieces from the line...
I hope you enjoy playing with these!
