Scrapbook Territory Haul & Stampington Ads

I picked up some great items from Scrapbook Territory (Berkeley, CA) this weekend.
My favorites are the papers with the spoon/clock/script from Prima in ivory and black. I also love the tissue paper from Tim Holtz - it comes on a roll, like foil...it comes in dictionary and music print. Then I picked up some other assorted embellishments...but what I've been looking for the most is that black and white striped paper - it's a great accent on projects, I was so excited to find it, that I bought it all up.

Then I wanted to share how excited I was when looking through the Oct/Nov issue of Somerset Life. In a couple of ads for their magazines, they feature my projects.  In a future issue of Somerset Studio, I'll have an article in there showing this piece. It's an old Papaya calendar that I re-purposed into a wall hanging.
For an ad for Somerset Life, they also showed my bracelet that I made.
It's a great issue.  Lisa Super has many great articles in there - Congrats!
And in the last Somerset Studio, there's an ad for Belle Armoire Jewelry with my shrine piece featured.

  2. Thanks for sharing some of the new things you bought. I can't wait to see what you do with these.

I think you need to collect some royalties for using your art pieces to advertise their magazines, but I know it's a big perk to have your pieces showcased. Congrats!
