I stamped some images on paper and then reduced them by 50% on my copier so they'd fit on the postcards. I added some small bits and pieces to add some interest.
I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them now..but this sure was a fun and quick project.
On another note, have you seen this Anna Griffin place mats?
In one package you get two designs. I love the lattice boarder and right away I thought of paper doll dress. I bought the placemats this weekend at the Neiman Marcus store located in the Paragon Outlets, in Livermore. Here's my Anna Griffin queen.
Hope you're having a great week!
Love all your great ideas and I am so gonna try to find some of those placemats. Got NM outlet near me and will definitely check it out. Think I may need to make a trip to Pottery Barn as well. Thanks for all the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing how you embellished your mini post cards with the stamped images and cut outs from vintage children's books. It's very whimsical and adorable. I saw a craft punch at Ross for a lattice border and now I'm sorry I didn't buy it. It really adds a lot to the overall look of her dress. It complements the Anna Griffin paper beautifully.
ReplyDeleteAs always Connie you inspire us all~~~Wouldn't even think of going too Outlets in Livermore however now I may have a reason to go!Postcards are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThank you as always
