Last weekend, I spent 3 days at "Art Is You" convention in Petaluma and had a wonderful weekend of workshops and spending time with old and new friends. My first day, I had a workshop with Joanna Pierotti. The class was "Sentimental Journey" - we made a beautiful album.
Below is my sister Lana soldering.
The frames below are my front and back covers in progress. I brought my own photos to use and altered them a bit.
This is how my album cover turned out.
Here are some of my inside pockets.
It's a perfect project for using up small scraps of material.
Below is a photo of the finished back of the album.
Friday evening, I took a great class with Diana Frey, "Twisted Sistah". Below is our teacher...if you ever have a chance to take a class from her, I highly recommend it!
This is the beginning of my bracelet.
Below is my puddle of beads and charms I used for embellishments.
Here's my finished piece. It was a great project, I can't wait to make another one!
I'll post "Art Is You" - Day 2 pictures tomorrow.
